No one was injured in a 10-vehicle crash on Highway 20 West that caused major delays for commuters in Montreal on Tuesday morning.

The Ministry of Transport reported that a first accident occurred after the Fenelon Boulevard exit (54) shortly after 8 a.m. in Dorval.

About a half hour later, the MTQ announced that a multiple vehicle accident occurred on the 20 West at the Highway 13 North interchange in Lachine that spewed debris onto the roadway.

Quebec provincial police (SQ) said that 10 vehicles were involved, but that no one was injured.

The second accident caused major delays with cars backing up on multiple roadways.

Police said that the scene was cleared around 10 a.m. and traffic resumed as normal.
