Shots fired at Saint-Léonard home, second incident in two days under investigation

Montreal police are investigating after shots were fired at a Saint-Léonard home around midnight Saturday. It was the second incident at the address in two days.

Montreal police (SPVM) are investigating after shoots were fired at a residence in the Saint-Léonard borough around midnight on Saturday night.

According to the SPVM, officers responded to a 911 call on Jonquet Street near Grasset Street.

“When police arrived at the scene, they observed projectile impacts on the residence and shell casings on the ground,” the SPVM said.

No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made, according to authorities.

Investigators plan to meet with witnesses and review surveillance footage to determine what happened.

This is the second incident at the address in two days – two vehicles were also targeted in arson attacks on Friday.

The SPVM is investigating whether the incidents are connected.
