Anyone wanting cannabis products delivered from the Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC) were temporarily out of luck in most parts of the province as same-day and standard delivery was suspended.
Customers in certain regions could get weed and cannabis-infused products delivered using the 90-minute service for $9, but the same-day ($9) and standard ($5) deliveries through Canada Post was unavailable.
The 90-minute option is not available in Montreal.
“The SQDC has a situation that is beyond our control with our logistics provider,” the SQDC said in an email to CTV News. “It has an impact on our standard (Canada Post) and same-day delivery services. Our 90-minute service and our pick-up service in store are not impacted because they relied on a different system.”

On Thursday, the SQDC was again offering the service as they said the logistics issue was resolved.
Similar to the 90-minute option, same-day delivery is only offered in certain regions of Quebec.
The SQDC said that customers who have paid for same-day delivery services will be reimbursed as the situation is resolved.
