Teen injured in armed assault in Drummondville

Provincial police (SQ) are investigating an armed assault at Marie-Rivier Secondary School in Drummondville on Saturday afternoon.

SQ spokesperson Camille Savoie said that they received a call around 1 p.m. reporting an altercation at a high school on St-Félix Street.

“Officers found a teenager with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital,” Savoie said.

Investigators are meeting with witnesses to determine what led to the incident.

No arrests have been made.
