Two people, a man and a woman in their 40s, have been arrested after Quebec provincial police conducted searches in Montreal and Pointe-Claire in relation to a suspected vehicle theft operation.
The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) says about a dozen officers were onsite at two homes to “target a network of exporters.”
The two could face charges related to trafficking, with others possibly to follow.
“They will remain in custody and will appear at the Montreal courthouse in connection with the events,” the SQ states.
The raid stems from an investigation that started in May 2024, according to the SQ.
