Montrealers are in for a warm but rainy weekend.

Environment Canada has also issued a weekend rainfall warning for regions in western and central Quebec.

For Saturday, a slightly cooler daytime high is expected in the Montreal area. The mercury could hit 12 C as up to 15 millimeters of rain falls over the island.
A low of 4 C on Saturday night could then bring a seasonal high of 14 C on Sunday. There is also a 90 per cent chance of up to 9 millimeters of showers.
But every storm runs out of rain and sunny skies are expected to start next week. Monday could also bring an above seasonal daytime high of 21 C.
The normal high for this time in April is 14 C.
