A 55-year-old man has been arrested in Longueuil, on Montreal’s South Shore, for sex-related offences.
Longueuil police (SPAL) says it arrested Robert Landry last Friday after raiding his home on Gaétan-Boucher Boulevard in the borough of Saint-Hubert.
“Several customers [who were] present onsite” were also arrested, according to the force.
He is facing seven charges, including recruiting a person to provide sexual services in exchange for payment, recruiting a minor for the same purpose, luring a person under the age of 18, transmitting sexually explicit materials to a minor, selling substances on the prescription drug list, advertising sexual services and breach of conditions.
Longueuil police says the arrests come after anonymous complaints by members of the public.
