Montreal weekend weather: Light snow on the way

More snow could be headed to Montreal this weekend.

Friday night is expected to bring partly cloudy skies and a low of -13 C.

By Saturday, the mainly sunny skies may give way to increasing flurries.

There is a 40 per cent chance of 0.5 cm of light snow in the afternoon.

The conditions should bring a mild daytime high of -2 C.

Saturday’s overnight low is expected to be on the milder side at -4 C.

The mercury should then continue upward heading into next week.

Sunday is expected to bring mostly cloudy skies, a mild daytime high of -1 C and an overnight low of -8 C.

Montreal could see more light precipitation to start the week, with a 70 per cent chance of flurries expected by Monday afternoon and a high of 2 C.

The normal daytime high for the region at this time is -2 C.
