Fatal snow machine crash in Sunridge on Friday

A 54-year-old was killed Friday morning in a snowmobile crash on an Ontario Federation Snowmobile Clubs trail in Sundridge, Ont.

A 54-year-old from southern Ontario was killed Friday in a snowmobile crash.

Ontario Provincial Police said the fatality took place on an Ontario Federation Snowmobile Clubs trail around 10:15 a.m.

“A 54-year-old-person from Norfolk, Ont., was pronounced deceased at the scene,” police said.

“The investigation is continuing with the assistance of an OPP collision reconstructionist and an OPP technical collision investigator.

The trail since has been re-opened to snowmobilers.
