A 25-year-old man and 26-year-old woman, of Goulais River, are accused of breaking into the youth’s home in the 400 block of North Street, bringing them outside and hitting the young person on the head before putting them in a vehicle and driving away.

“Officers located a vehicle matching the description in a parking lot in the 1300 block of Great Northern Road and saw the victim walking away from the vehicle,” police said.

“The two accused were located inside the vehicle and arrested.”

The youth sustained minor physical injuries and all three involved are known to each other, police added.

Both suspects are charged with assault, breaking and entering, kidnapping and mischief.

The male suspect is also charged with three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

“Both accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing,” police said.
