Timmins Police say an ongoing situation in the area of Sterling Avenue East and Balsam Street South/Cedar Street South has ended.
“The area has been cleared, and all police activity has been resolved,” police said Thursday evening.
“Timmins Police Service would like to thank the public for their patience and cooperation while officers were on the scene. At this time, there are no further concerns to public safety, and normal traffic flow has resumed.
“We would like to reiterate our appreciation for the community’s understanding and support during this time,” police added.
