Officers with the Nipissing West detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a pair of recent property thefts in West Nipissing and seeking the public’s help.

Earlier this month, a black 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle was stolen from a property on Levert Drive.

“Nipissing West OPP is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual(s) involved in the theft or (in) possession of a black 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle,” said police in a recent social media post.
“The theft occurred between June 20-25.”
Another property theft in the area
Provincial police are also looking for a 115 hp Mercury outboard motor missing from a property on Front Street.

“Nipissing West OPP is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the individual(s) involved in the theft or (in) possession of a 115 hp black 2024 Mercury outboard motor,” said police in a subsequent social media post.
“The theft occurred in the evening hours after June 21.”
Police said a white pickup truck was observed entering a secure area of the property concerned.

Anyone with information related to either incident or the location of the stolen property is asked to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously.

The reference number for the case involving the motorcycle is E240816214 and for the missing motor it is E240798785.
