No injuries after Sudbury bus carrying special needs students ends up in the ditch

A bus carrying seven special needs students ended up in a ditch Tuesday in Sudbury. There were no injuries and another bus arrived to transport the students.

The Sudbury Student Services Consortium says seven special needs students were on board a school bus Tuesday morning when it went off the roadway.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.

It happened at the corner of Delaware Avenue and Fielding Street in New Sudbury.

The consortium said the driver was attempting a turnaround at a new stop on the route and misjudged the turn.

The students were transferred to another bus to continue their route.
