A 68-year-old male staff member has been charged with sexual assault after allegedly biting and kissing a customer’s body during a cosmetic procedure earlier this month, North Bay police say.
The alleged incident took place at Elegant Pro-Nails on McKeown Avenue, North Bay Police Service said in a news release Thursday.
“The victim left the location and reported the incident to police,” police said.
Officers arrested the local man on Tuesday.
Police said they believe there may be other victims or similar incidents in the past.
“We encourage all victims and anyone with information about similar incidents, regardless of how recently they occurred, to contact the North Bay Police Service at 705-497-5555 and ask to speak with Const. Michelle Saliba,” said police.
“Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Near North Crime Stoppers.”
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 18.
