North Bay police used a drone to track down a suspect accused of stealing more than $50,000 in property from a local business.

The 28-year-old man gained access to a restricted area of a business on Charles Street East around 4 a.m. Dec. 10, North Bay police said in a news release Thursday.
Most of the stolen items were recovered.
Using a drone, officers "located the accused and tracked his movements until patrol units" were able to arrest him.
Video footage from the drone shows a person riding a bike down a residential street when two patrol cars pull up and stop the rider.
It turns out the e-bike he was riding was stolen.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 7.
