Sudbury — An early morning crash between two vehicles and a moose has resulted in the death of one person on Highway 11 south of North Bay, police say.
Emergency crews responded to the scene in Laurier Township, north of South River, at approximately 6:30 a.m. Monday.
The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.
Their name is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
The northbound lanes of the highway are closed as an investigation is ongoing. Traffic is being diverted to Highway 124 to Goreville Road.
