Sudbury — A 36-year-old from Cambridge is facing stunt driving charges after Sudbury Ontario Provincial Police pulled a vehicle over on Highway 69 on Friday morning.
The OPP was conducting traffic enforcement on the highway when a vehicle was stopped for travelling more than 150 km/h in a 90 km/h zone.
The Cambridge resident was charged with street racing and was issued a seven-day driver's licence suspension. The vehicle was also impounded.
The accused was released on a provincial summons and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on June 1in Greater Sudbury.
