Police seek video footage related to suspicious death in Jocelyn Township

OPP investigating a suspicious death Provincial police are investigating a suspicious death on St. Joseph Island, near Sault Ste. Marie, after a body was found near the road.

Ontario Provincial Police in Jocelyn Township are seeking video or dashcam footage that might be helpful in investigating a suspicious death.

Police responded to a report of a deceased person on Jan. 6 at approximately 2:45 p.m.

The East Algoma OPP Crime Unit is investigating the death in conjunction with the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service and Office of the Chief Coroner.

Police say they are seeking video footage from anyone travelling on or near P line Road between 9 a.m. on Jan. 4 and 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 6.
