A 35-year-old man in Sault Ste. Marie is facing dozens of charges after police raided a residence earlier this week on East Street in the city.
Sault police units, with help from the Ontario Provincial Police, executed a search warrant Feb. 12, following up on an investigation that began earlier this month.

Police had information that the accused had a firearm in his East Street residence.
Once inside, police found two handguns, a rifle, a replica gun and ammunition.
Police also seized “seven cellular devices, drug packaging materials, a digital scale, approximately 26.36 grams of suspected cocaine, and approximately $155 in Canadian currency,” the release said.
“The estimated street value of drugs seized is approximately $2,636.”
The suspect has been charged with a total of 45 offences, including more than a dozen firearms-related offences, probation and release conditions violations, failing to attend court, drug trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
“The accused was also wanted by the Ontario Provincial Police West Nipissing detachment for several unrelated offences,” Sault police said.
“The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.”
