West’s victory party
A victory party is being held at Trevi Bar & Grill on Lasalle Boulevard.

“You have no idea what’s going to happen and I had knots in my stomach,” West told Amanda Hicks of CTVNewsNorthernOntario.ca in an interview.
“I had people texting me tonight telling me I won, but I kept reminding people the votes hadn’t closed yet.”
The incumbent also said he’s very excited to return to Queen’s Park as “there’s a lot to be done.”
He wore a burgundy suit to his victory party with a white dress shirt and plaid tie.

Hicks said about 30 supporters were in attendance and there was an “upbeat atmosphere” and a live band playing.
