As a result of the investigation, a 33-year-old local man and a 40-year-old local woman along with an 18-year-old from York, Ont., were all charged with possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm, knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime along with four counts of drug trafficking.

The three accused remain in custody pending a court appearance on March 3.
