A cyclist suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the Mooney’s Bay area Monday afternoon.

An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson says they responded to the intersection of Riverside Drive and Walkley Road shortly before 2 p.m.

A 67-year-old man was taken to a trauma centre in serious but stable condition, paramedics say.

The southbound lanes of Riverside Drive were closed at Walkley Road as police investigated, the Ottawa Police Service said in a news release.
