Mainly cloudy with chance of showers in Ottawa Thursday

The forecast for Thursday in Ottawa is calling for a warmer than average high but there’s a chance we could see some showers.

Environment Canada says Ottawa could see a high of 17 C Thursday afternoon, which is about three degrees warmer than normal. The morning starts off mainly sunny, with increasing cloudiness by noon. There’s a 40 per cent chance of showers throughout the afternoon.

In the evening, expect a partly cloudy sky. Overnight, the temperature drops to a low of 4 C.

Friday’s forecast is mainly cloudy with a high of 15 C and a 30 per cent chance of showers.

Saturday is looking cloudy with periods of rain and a high of 12 C.

Sunday’s outlook is sunny.
