Ottawa police say one person died, and another was airlifted to the hospital following a collision in Ottawa’s rural west end on Friday evening. According to a news release from police, officers attended the scene of a three-vehicle crash on March Road and Diamondview Road, south of Carp, at approximately 5:42 p.m. A 31-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 37-year-old female was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries. Anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have footage of the incident is asked to call the Ottawa Police Service Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2345.
