The Ottawa Police Service is asking the public for help in identifying two suspects and a vehicle involved in an alleged theft amounting to over $120,000 from a storage yard in the city’s west end Feb. 9.

Police say two suspects cut the lock on the gates of a storage yard located in the 2500 block of Carp Road around 2:45 a.m., entered the facility, then stole a mobile generator and trailer estimated at over $125,000.

The two suspects then left the area in a white pick-up truck. Police did not provide a description of the two suspects.

The vehicle is described as a white four-door heavy duty pick-up truck with unknown plates.

“The generator is described as a multi-coloured Atlas Copco 330 mobile generator with the company logo of ‘Temp Gen’ on it,” police said in a news release Thursday.

“It was also on a grey trailer with Ontario licence plate Z3947H.”
