Police investigating shots fired in Ottawa’s south end

There are no reports of injuries following an evening shooting in Ottawa’s south end.

The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a shooting on Black Canary Drive, near Mitch Owens Road and Spratt Road. It happened just before 9 p.m., police said.

Ottawa police said on X Tuesday afternoon that the investigation “continues.”

The Duty Inspector account said Monday night “there is no known threat to public safety.”
