The Ottawa Senators will continue to play at the Canadian Tire Centre.
The Senators announced an extension of their arena naming rights with Canadian Tire Corporation on Friday, keeping the Canadian Tire name on the arena in Kanata.
The Senators home arena has been called the Canadian Tire Centre since July 1, 2013.
“We are happy to continue our longstanding relationship with Canadian Tire,” Cyril Leeder, Senators president and CEO, said in a statement.
“They have been an original sponsor of the team since our inception and having their name on our arena will continue to be a source of pride.”

The Senators did not say how long the partnership has been extended with Canadian Tire Corporation for the naming rights of the arena.
Canadian Tire Centre was previously known as Scotiabank Place, the Corel Centre and the Palladium.
Negotiations are underway between the Senators and the National Capital Commission to build a new NHL-sized arena at LeBreton Flats. Last September, the NCC and the Senators announced an agreement in principle had been reached for the club to buy just over 10 acres of land west of downtown Ottawa to build an arena.
Leeder told TSN 1200 last month it would be at least another four to six seasons before the Senators look to leave Canadian Tire Centre for a new arena near downtown Ottawa.
