Sunshine and warm temperatures today in Ottawa, with flurries expected later this week

The sunshine and warm temperatures will continue in Ottawa to start the new work week, but there is still a chance of flurries this week.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of 16 C today, the second straight day with temperatures hitting 16 C. The temperatures warmed up to 16 C on Sunday.

Ottawa will see sunshine today with increasing cloudiness this afternoon. High 16 C.

Showers beginning this evening and ending after midnight. Environment Canada says it will clear by morning. Low 6 C.

The forecast calls for more showers on Tuesday. High 10 C.

Tuesday night will see either showers or flurries. Low 0 C.

Wednesday will be cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers or flurries. High 5 C.

The outlook for Thursday calls for sunshine and a high of 8 C.

Good Friday will be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers. High 11 C.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 11 C and a low of 1 C.
