The Ottawa Police Service says an individual wanted in connection with several jewelry store robberies that occurred this month has been arrested. According to a news release from police, 50-year-old Alain Therrien was arrested Thursday night in connection with three jewelry store robberies that occurred at three different shopping centres on Sept. 11, Sept. 17 and Sept. 22. Therrien is facing multiple charges, including three counts of robbery, three counts of mischief over $5,000 and one count of failing to comply with a release order.
