Ontario Provincial Police say a teenager from Petawawa was airlifted to an Ottawa hospital after suffering life-threatening injuries in a collision. Police say the 17-year-old cyclist was hit by a vehicle on Industrial Avenue in Petawawa at around 9:10 p.m. Thursday. The driver of the vehicle was not injured, police said. An investigation is ongoing with an OPP collision reconstructionist and OPP Technical Collision Investigation members to determine the circumstances of the crash. Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident, including anyone who may have relevant home or business security video or dash cam footage, to contact the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP at 613-732-3332.
