Ottawa River

Water levels are expected to rise along the Ottawa River this week due to the melting snow and the spring runoff.

The Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board says water levels are “fairly stable” in all locations.

“Levels and flows are expected to increase due to spring runoff from the central and northern parts of the basin,” the board said in a statement Tuesday. “Levels are expected to rise over the next few days in all locations. The snowpack melt in the northern part of the basin is expected to continue over the next few weeks.”
