Ottawa to see flurries today before spring temperatures arrive this weekend

It continues to look and feel like winter in Ottawa, but spring weather is set to arrive in the capital this weekend.

Ottawa saw light snow overnight, which blanketed vehicles and the grass with a light dusting of snow.

Environment Canada’s forecast calls for flurries to end this morning then cloudy with a 70 per cent chance of showers. Ottawa could see two centimetres of snow. High 5 C.

Cloudy tonight with a 40 per cent chance of showers. Low 0 C.

Saturday will see a mix of sun and cloud. There is a 30 per cent chance of showers in the morning. High 11 C.

Sunday will be sunny. High 15 C.

The outlook for Monday calls for a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of showers. High 15 C.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 10 C and a low of 1 C.

Environment Canada’s monthly forecast calls for temperatures to remain seasonal over the next four weeks.
