Charges laid after man allegedly exposes himself in Regina

A man is facing a pair of charges after allegedly exposing himself to residents in downtown Regina.

On Wednesday, June 10, at around 6:45 p.m., police were called to a bus stop at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Broad Street.

The caller told police a man wearing a bathrobe, with pants but no shirt on underneath, was exposing himself to residents passing by.

Officers arrived moments after the call and found the man at the intersection of 14th Avenue and Broad Street. Officers approached him and he reportedly tried fleeing – but was quickly arrested without further incident.

As a result, the 27-year-old man was charged with committing an indecent act and failing to comply with a probation order.

He is set to make his first appearance in Regina Provincial Court on July 15.
