Former Rider receiver Ajou Ajou waived by Indianapolis Colts: TSN

According to TSN’s Farhan Lalji, former Saskatchewan Roughriders receiver Ajou Ajou has been waived by the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts.

Despite the roster move, a return to Riderville this season is not inevitable: if Ajou clears waivers, he could become eligible for the team’s practice squad.

The receiver out of Brooks, Alta. was cut by the Riders in January to pursue the NFL opportunity after a breakout season in green and white in 2024. The Colts signed the 23-year-old to a futures/reserve contract later that month.

Ajou was selected by the Riders in the seventh round of the 2024 CFL Draft.

He played college football at Clearwater Academy in Florida, followed by stints at Clemson and South Florida before closing off his college career at Garden City Community College.
