People’s Party of Canada candidate Dionne Fehler was born and raised in Regina.
She attended SIAST for the architectural and building technology program and graduated in 2011. She worked in residential construction then later worked in commercial construction.
According to the party’s website, Fehler is proud to stand for the values of freedom, fairness, and equality.
Rahima Mian, Liberal Party of Canada
Liberal Party candidate Rahima Mian moved to Regina with her family in 2016.
She gained a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Regina in 2019 and later joined the Liberal Party of Canada in 2023.
She has worked for the Minister of Indigenous Services and is passionate about fighting for the rights of Indigenous communities.
Andrew Scheer, Conservative Party of Canada
Conservative Party of Canada candidate Andrew Scheer is the current Member of Parliament for Regina-Qu’Appelle.
Scheer was born and raised in Ontario but moved to Saskatchewan to build his career, according to his website. He was first elected as the Conservative MP for Regina—Qu’Appelle in 2004, previously working in the insurance industry.
He and his wife live in Regina with their five children.
Chris Simmie, New Democratic Party
NDP candidate Chris Simmie is a small business owner who was born and raised in Saskatchewan.
Before becoming a business owner, he worked in many different fields, including operating heavy equipment and infrastructure projects.
Simmie also volunteers with local charities and believes in fairness and respect, vowing to fight for affordable housing, quality public services, and climate action.
