NDP candidate Jacob Gadzella was born and raised in Saskatoon and previously worked as a graphic designer before working in digital communications with Affinity Credit Union.
Gadzella recently completed a master’s degree in business administration in community economic development and is an advocate for unions.
Hamish Graham, Green Party of Canada
Green Party candidate Hamish Graham has been dedicated to science and learning all his life. He was the former president of Hascap Canada and owns a haskap orchard.
Graham and his wife are also dedicated to supporting the Ness Creek Music Festival site and its community initiatives.
Rokhan Sarwar, Liberal Party of Canada
Born in Afghanistan, Liberal Party candidate Rokhan Sarwar moved to Canada in 2001 after earning a sponsorship from the World University of Canada. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and business economics t the University of Saskatchewan, later earning an MBA.
Sarwar is involved in fundraising and community service, serving as vice president then president of the board of directors for the Saskatoon Open Door Society.
Kevin Waugh, Conservative Party of Canada
Born and raised in Saskatoon, Conservative Party candidate Kevin Waugh has been an active member in the community, supporting numerous organizations.
Waugh has played a role in fundraising efforts for children’s programs and served as a trustee with the Saskatoon Board of Education before entering federal politics.
He was elected as the MP for Saskatoon South in 2015 and says he remains committed to promoting the interests of Saskatoon people.
Richard Brent Wintringham, People’s Party of Canada
A lifelong resident of Saskatoon, People’s Party of Canada candidate Richard Brent Wintringham has advocated for the protection of civil liberties.
He works as a truck driver, and has also worked as a security guard, dock worker, and janitor. He believes his work experience gives him a strong understanding of challenges faced by the working class.
