There is an increased police presence in Regina Beach relating to an ongoing investigation, according to a notice sent out by Saskatchewan RCMP on Saturday night.
Around 7:15 p.m., Sask. RCMP advised the public to avoid areas where there are police officers, and to follow any directions from police.
RCMP said if there is a risk to public safety, the public will be notified.
In an update at 9:56 p.m. Sask. RCMP revealed that its presence in the community had ended.
“More information will be provided when available,” the update read.
