Regina police have charged a 25-year-old man after a CO2 gun was fired at multiple people Sunday morning.
Officers were called to the 3700 block of Wascana Parkway at around 9:20 a.m. after learning the suspect threatened multiple people before firing multiple shots at them, a Regina police news release said.
Security at the scene detained the suspect and recovered the firearm before police arrived, the release said.
Police arrested the suspect upon arrival without incident.
The 25-year-old suspect was charged with two counts each of pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon, discharge of a firearm in a reckless manner and one count each of possession of a weapon, carrying a concealed weapon and assault.
Police said no serious injuries were reported.
The accused made his first court appearance Monday morning, Regina police said.
