The City of Moose Jaw says it will be removing parking spots on the west side of Main Street N from Ross Street to Saskatchewan Street West.
The parking spots were removed effective Tuesday with the city citing traffic flow and safety as reasons why the decision was made.
“This adjustment will ensure sufficient clearance for all four lanes of travel along Main Street N. Please note that parking on the east side of Main Street is already prohibited north of Oxford St. E,” the city said in a news release.
Homeowners and businesses in the affected area have been sent letters, the city added.
People will any concerns are asked to use the “Report an Issue” option on the City of Moose Jaw’s website or app.
The parking changes come as Moose Jaw hosts the 2025 BKT Tires World Men’s Curling Championships – which run from March 29 to April 6.
