The Regina Humane Society (RHS) will host its 37th annual telethon Sunday.
The program, which will air from 6 to 9 p.m. will provide viewers with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at RHS’s programs, its team, and the animals that have received a second change through its adoption services.
The broadcast will be hosted by country music artist Chris Henderson, entertainer Rory Allen along with a roster of local celebrities.
The telethon’s 50/50 draw has returned as well – promising an immense prize for one lucky ticketholder.
“We’re thrilled to share how our community has stepped up to help thousands of animals in need,” RHS spokesperson Bill Thorn said in the announcement.
“This telethon is not just a fundraiser – it’s a celebration of the power and compassion of community. The animals who find their forever homes are the true winners, and we couldn’t do this work without the generosity of our supporters.”
The telethon can be watched using this link, while donations can be made through the RHS website.
RHS has been encouraging responsible pet ownership, humane policies and providing animal welfare programs since its founding in 1964.
