The Regina Thunder led from start to finish, winning a 44 to 4 route at Leibel field on Sunday afternoon against the Edmonton Huskies. The home side got touchdowns from Carwyn Williams, Mathew Morris, Benjamin Walz, Jayden Zelionka, Peter Boersch, and Tanner Donovel in the win. The defence shut out Edmonton, as the only points scored by the visiting Huskies were two conceded safeties. The victory improves the Thunder’s record to 4-0 and sees them remain as the only undefeated team in the Prairie Football Conference at the midway mark of the regular season. Regina will now be on a bye week before clashing with their provincial rivals, the Saskatoon Hilltops on Saturday Sept. 12 at Leibel Field.
