A member of the Regina Police Service (RPS) facing a charge of breach of trust made his first court appearance on Tuesday.
Sgt. Robert Eric Semenchuck’s defence counsel appeared on his behalf on Tuesday at Regina Provincial Court.
He is accused of accessing RPS internal databases to pursue personal relationships.
Police were made aware of the allegations in early 2023.
Semenchuck is also charged with unauthorized use of a computer.
His matter was adjourned to May 13 for disclosure.
