Weyburn police are asking for the public’s assistance following a series of break-ins at a storage facility.

On April 9, police were informed that four units were broken into at a facility in the city’s west end.

To avoid detection, the suspect (or suspects) covered the surveillance cameras with mud.

According to police, it does not appear anything was stolen from the units. However, the investigation is ongoing to determine if anything else was damaged or stolen.

“At this point, police are still working to determine a suspect or suspects in this matter,” the service said in a statement to CTV News.

The Weyburn Police Service is asking the public to come forward if they have any information regarding the incident.

Tips can be submitted to police or through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
