While extreme cold warnings have been lifted for Saskatchewan, there are still winter road conditions for drivers to be aware of before heading out.

As of 1 p.m. Thursday, Highway 1 from Swift Current to Gull Lake is closed due to zero visibility, snow drifts, and drifting snow, according to Highway Hotline.

As well, travel is not recommended on Highway 1 from Gull Lake to Carmichael and Highway 363 from Neidpath to Junction Highway 4 due to zero visibility, snow drifts, and drifting snow.

Highway 1 from Rush Lake to Swift Current is partly covered with snow drifts, drifting snow, and poor visibility, so travel is not recommended.

Highway Hotline advises people to check highway conditions before venturing out.
