Another year, another successful TeleMiracle – as the annual fixture in Saskatchewan raised a total of $5,709,306.
“Thank you, Saskatchewan. Everybody who has been watching from around the world. Thank you so much. We cannot believe the year that we’ve had. The excitement, the highs, the lows, all of it,” host Beverley Mahood said in the closing moments of the event.
Running for 20 straight hours from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday, the marathon event featured musical performances, cheque presentations and non-stop ringing phones at Saskatoon’s Prairieland Park.
“If it wasn’t for this event, we would not be able to do what we do,” Kinsmen Foundation Executive Director Danika Dinko told CTV News. “We’re so thankful for the support of Saskatchewan. They show up, they ring those phones, they do all of this.”
In addition to Mahood, several cast members returned from previous years including Brad Johner, Luc Johner, Jeffrey Straker, Dione Taylor, Lisa Franks, Chris Henderson, Alex Brown and Sabeen Ahmad.
Telemiracle 49 marked the first appearance of Michaella Montanna and Shailynn Taylor as hosts.
The event fell just shy of beating out its 2024 total.
TeleMiracle 48 raised a total of $6,112,717, while $5,519,229 was raised during TeleMiracle 47.

The event’s all-time record was set in 2022 when the telethon raised a total of $8,002,722.
All proceeds from the fundraiser stay in Saskatchewan and are granted through the Kinsmen Foundation for specialized medical and mobility equipment.
