The Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association (SUMA) has re-elected Randy Goulden as its president.

The decision came Tuesday morning, as SUMA members are gathered for the organization’s annual meeting in Saskatoon.

“I am deeply honoured to have SUMA members place their trust in me once again,” Goulden said, following the announcement.

“I look forward to seeing our new governance model and policies fully implemented and to continue the great work we have done to strengthen our advocacy and member services over the past several years.”

Goulden was first elected to Yorkton City Council in 1997 and became involved with SUMA shortly afterward – serving as the organization’s east-central regional director before being elected as SUMA President in 2022.

Goulden will begin her four-year term once SUMA’s annual convention concludes on April 16.
