Fire crews responded to a home blaze in Saskatoon

Saskatoon fire crews were called to a house fire early Thursday morning on the 100 block of Avenue N South.

Firefighters arrived at the home in Saskatoon’s Pleasant Hill neighbourhood to find smoke and flames coming from the rear of a boarded-up home and extinguished the fire from the exterior.

The fire was reported at around 1:45 a.m. and was completely extinguished by 3:49 a.m., the fire department said.

No injuries were reported.

The fire department says an investigator remains on scene to determine the cause, origin and damage estimate.
