RCMP investigating crash involving ambulance in Saskatoon

RCMP are investigating a three-vehicle crash involving an ambulance in Saskatoon Saturday morning.

Firefighters were called to the scene on Highway 16 North and 71st Street West at about 8:01 a.m., according to the fire department.

When crews arrived, they found three vehicles involved, including an ambulance.

The fire department says crews secured the scene and assisted police with traffic control. It says all occupants had already exited their vehicles before crews arrived and firefighters checked everyone for injuries, though it didn’t specify if they were hurt.

Crews also de‑energized the vehicles as a safety precaution.

The scene was later turned over to the Saskatoon Police Service and RCMP for further investigation.
