Sask. RCMP investigating two suspicious deaths in North Battleford

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is investigating after two men were found dead in a home in North Battleford.

Battlefords RCMP received a report of an injured man at a residence on 110 Street around 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

Officers arrived to find two injured men, who were pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

According to a news release sent shortly before 7 p.m., both deaths are considered suspicious and police are unable to provide additional details about the men until their identities have been confirmed and their families have been notified.

RCMP are asking residents in the 110 Street area to check their homes’ security and doorbell cameras from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Dec. 14 and report any suspicious activity.

Police say there will be an increased police presence in the area for an undetermined time.

Anyone with information is asked to call 310-RCMP or submit tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.

Police say updates will be provided as they become available.

RCMP say if an imminent risk to public safety is identified they’ll notify the public.
