A 30-year-old Prince Albert woman was pronounced dead after being found inside a home following a fire on Sunday.

First responders were called to the scene of a structure fire in the 400 block of 19th Street East around 4 p.m. on April 20, according to a Prince Albert police news release.

Firefighters found a 30-year-old woman inside the home, police say. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Forensic and major crime investigators examined the scene alongside a fire inspector and ultimately ruled out any foul play in the death.

The coroner’s office has taken over the death investigation, and police say there will be no further updates.
